Justin Skinner, JD, MBA founded CountyBlock to create a functional bridge between blockchain technologies and current systems. Justin is active in many areas of blockchain ranging from investing in blockchain technologies to advising the Ethereum Foundation in protecting its intellectual property rights.
Justin is also co-founder of Insight Economics and an expert in business, finance, and intellectual property with extensive experience in economic analysis, licensing, and consulting. He applies his expertise in a variety of areas, including strategy, valuation, branding, licensing, and the economic analysis of patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, rights of publicity, reasonable royalties, breach of contract, commercial success, and others.
Justin earned a J.D., magna cum laude, from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, an MBA with a certificate in Financial Planning, and a B.S. in Business Management from San Diego State University. Justin is an attorney and has been a member of the state bar of California since 2006.
Justin is a Certified Licensing Professional and has written articles relating to licensing and royalties published in les Nouvelles, The Licensing Book, and Law360. He has also served as an expert witness evaluating trademarks, reasonable royalties, and other topics.
